The 1906 opera house—where the fire’s dead are said to watch.

Arcadia Opera House is a theater in Arcadia, Florida. The 1906 opera house—where the fire’s dead are said to watch. Its accounts name only a collective — the opera house ghosts. The dossier holds 2 reported claims, 1 legend, 1 documented fact and 1 named or described presence — documented record and retelling kept side by side. It still runs shows.

The Opera House is the children's — the orphanage that burned in '05, the '06 rebuild that Heard made. The laughter is the heard — the running in the hallways, the 'help me' that the spirit box caught. The window is the girl's — the figure that's seen in the corner, the fall that's the legend.
The Heard was the banker — the Florida Loan that was downstairs, the auditorium that held the dances. The fire was the Arcadia — the Thanksgiving '05 that took the downtown, the rebuild that followed. The Opera House is the haunted — the children who play, the Heard who appears.
The file keeps the Opera House: the 1905 fire, the '06 rebuild, the children's laughter, and the girl in the window.
The Arcadia Opera House is the archive's Florida file — the orphans' theater.
