Castillo San CristóbalGarita del Diablo
The Devil's Sentry Box legend holds that soldiers posted to the remote garita vanished in the night — the box's fame as 'the devil's post' made it the fort's named entity. Whatever took the sentries (desertion, waves, or worse), the sentry box itself became the entity: the place where the devil worked.
