Duryea Beekman

The tourism trail recounts owners’ stories of a suited man, attributed to Duryea Beekman, entering the under-stair closet and of doors opening and whistling before sunrise. A hotel in Middleburgh, New York with more than a century of check-ins gives the reports plenty of rooms to work with. The account appears in 'Beekman House'. Named presences persist where anonymous reports fade — the file's name here is Duryea Beekman.
