Ernie
Sources attach this name to the 1 place below. The name itself is part of the folklore record.
Ernie, an alleged keeper’s spirit, features in reports of moving objects and unexplained sounds. Maritime lore is the oldest ghost file there is; New London Ledge Lighthouse in New London, Connecticut is a fully credentialed entry. Sources including 'The Haunting of Eastern Connecticut' keep the claim in circulation. The name travels further than the proof; the sightings keep renewing the lease.
