Frederick A. Jordan
Sources attach this name to the 1 place below. The name itself is part of the folklore record.
Legend attributes a haunting to keeper Frederick A. Jordan, said to have drowned in December 1916. Maritime lore is the oldest ghost file there is; Penfield Reef Lighthouse in Fairfield, Connecticut is a fully credentialed entry. The account appears in 'Haunted Lighthouses'. The named presence is what turns a haunting into a household.
