Katherine Van Alst
Sources attach this name to the 1 place below. The name itself is part of the folklore record.
Katherine Van Alst — the eight-year-old lost at Devil's Den for six days in 1946 — is the park's 'real mystery': found alive miles away in a spot searchers had covered, calm and unhurt. Her disappearance and return feed the park's lore with documented strangeness the cryptid talk rides on. The account stays in the file — reported, retold, unresolved.
