Ozarks Howler
Sources attach this name to the 1 place below. The name itself is part of the folklore record.
The Ozarks Howler is Devil's Den's cryptid — the shaggy, cat-like beast of Ozark legend said to scream in the Boston Mountains, with a claimed 2015 sighting logged in the university folklore collection. It's the region's oldest monster tradition, predating Bigfoot's fame by generations. The account stays in the file — reported, retold, unresolved.
