Pedro
Sources attach this name to the 1 place below. The name itself is part of the folklore record.
The university collection recounts phantom howling attributed to Pedro, Dr. Moore’s dog. The burial ground at Helena is exactly the setting the account needs — old graves, older grief, and a story that won't settle. 'Arkansas Legends and Lore Appendix' carries the account. The file keeps Pedro on the roster; the sightings keep the name alive.
