Pope Lick Monster
Sources attach this name to the 1 place below. The name itself is part of the folklore record.
The Pope Lick Monster is described in legend as a goat-man — an escaped circus performer or a farmer's freak, depending on the telling — who hypnotizes victims onto the trestle's tracks. The legend's mechanism (luring people onto a live rail bridge) has had real, documented victims. The report keeps its place in the record.
