Preacher Ebenezer
Sources attach this name to the 1 place below. The name itself is part of the folklore record.
Odell Pioneer Cemetery Association recounts a story about a murderous preacher called Ebenezer, which the association rejects as fabricated. Preacher Ebenezer is what the reports name it. The reports at Odell Pioneer Cemetery and Ebenezer Chapel are the site's second history — unofficial, unverified, and stubbornly retold. 'Myths & Legends' carries the account. The name travels further than the proof; the sightings keep renewing the lease.
