Tayloe daughter

Sources attach this name to the 1 place below. The name itself is part of the folklore record.

Lore describes a Tayloe daughter who fell down the grand staircase after a forbidden romance, still heard on the stairs. The reports at The Octagon House are the site's second history — unofficial, unverified, and stubbornly retold. The report is preserved in sources like 'The Octagon House'. The name travels further than the proof; the sightings keep renewing the lease.
