The Amboy dead
Sources attach this name to the 1 place below. The name itself is part of the folklore record.
The dead are reportedly seen. The accounts name only a collective — the Amboy dead. In a place where the population already left once, the remaining reports at Amboy feel almost inevitable. 'Amboy' carries the account. A named spirit outlasts an anonymous one; the file's name is The Amboy dead. The reports keep the address on the map.
