The staircase man
Sources attach this name to the 1 place below. The name itself is part of the folklore record.
Reported a man’s figure on the lobby staircase linked to a 1930s suicide. The presence goes by The staircase man. The hotel keeps the account on its own record — the sort of haunting a building earns one guest at a time. The named presence is what turns a haunting into a household. The lore keeps its witness.
