The von Phul affair
Sources attach this name to the 1 place below. The name itself is part of the folklore record.
Reported figures include a murdered woman’s presence and a man in the atrium tied to the 1911 shooting. The presence goes by The von Phul affair. A hotel in Denver, Colorado with more than a century of check-ins gives the reports plenty of rooms to work with. Sources including 'Brown Palace Hotel' keep the claim in circulation. The name travels further than the proof; the sightings keep renewing the lease.
