Is Benjamin Harrison Home haunted?

The record holds 2 claims, 1 legend, 1 named entity — filed as reported, not verified. The heaviest filing is classed documented legend. The archive documents the claim; it takes no position on the ghost.

The record — long form

The Benjamin Harrison Home was built in 1875 — the Indianapolis house where the twenty-third president lived before and after his term, the residence holding the man who came home from the White House to the rooms he'd built.

The file's documented spine is the presidency's domestic register: a house that held a president in his private life, the rooms where Harrison lived being the record of the man the office couldn't change.

Harrison in the house

The lore reports Harrison seen in the house — the file's ghost being the president himself: the man who built the rooms reportedly still in them, the home keeping the resident who came back to it after the White House.

Harrison's presence is the file's signature — a president reportedly still at the house that was his before and after the presidency, the rooms holding the man who chose them over the nation's.

Why this file matters

The Harrison Home is the archive's presidential-house file — an 1875 residence keeping the president reportedly still inside. The documented residence is the record; the lingering man is the lore of a home that outlasted the office.

A house that held a president keeps him — the file's suggestion being that Harrison's rooms still hold the man who built them before he was president and returned to them after.
