Former hospitals

A hospital that closed — the building outlasting the institution, the reports outlasting both. These dossiers sit between abandonment and afterlife: records of what the wards were for, accounts of what explorers, preservationists and investigators say the corridors still contain. Many of these sites are sealed or restricted; the archive files the reports and notes the posted signs. Claims of what remains inside are exactly that — claims.
