Historic houses
A house preserved for its documented past that carries a second, less documented reputation. These dossiers sit between the register and the rumor: the architecture is researched, the provenance traced, and then a separate column records what staff, visitors or former residents say happens after hours. The archive keeps the two files adjacent — what the preservation report establishes, and what the house is reported to do on its own time.
